You likely do if ITAR technical data or DoD CUI will live in Microsoft 365. Microsoft states GCC High supports the DFARS 252.204-7012 cloud requirements and, for ITAR data, commits to U.S. data location and access limited to U.S. persons. Firms with no controlled data can stay on commercial Microsoft 365. Migration takes planning, so make the decision before a contract forces it.
